This project combines mixed media animation with clear 4K frames to explore and break down the details of a vintage VW MK2 Golf VR6. The mixed media process involved exporting and printing part of the sequence at 12fps. Each frame was then modified by hand, drawing over it, scratching, incorporating cut-out images of external objects like F1 tyres, and layering additional visual elements. Once the designs were completed, the pages were scanned and sequenced into the timeline to create a clip highlighting the embedded artwork on top of the frames.
