Nürburgring postcards
These video postcards explore both the passion surrounding “the Ring” and the intensity of its legendary, often controversial corners. Beyond the track itself, capturing the surrounding culture, the car community, the range of demographics, and the diverse machines that gather in celebration of motorsport. Shot in a 16:9 frame with rounded corners instead of a 4:3 , the format was chosen to create a sense of space and authenticity, allowing viewers to immerse themselves without feeling constrained. Careful, naturalistic colour grading was applied to reflect Germany’s true character and preserve the raw and very green atmosphere that defines this iconic location.
The Nürburgring in Nürburg, Germany, opened in 1927 beneath a medieval castle, and is considered the most dangerous and iconic racetrack in the world. Nicknamed “The Green Hell,” its 20.8 km Nordschleife features 73 corners, 300 meters of elevation change, and nearly 90% blind bends with minimal safety run-offs.
