The main inspiration for this video was the director Guy Ritchie's montage scenes from Snatch. Ritchie’s vibe and, particularly, his aesthetic in his characters and the pacing of his scenes were an inspiration. The establishment of the character in this video was to create a sense of ambiguity through props (kitchen towel), shot selection, and quick cuts. The video was also intentionally shot in an aspect ratio of 4:3 to contain and emphasise every detail within a limited space. This aspect ratio ensured that every shot counted and helped evoke a vintage Hollywood aesthetic.
